09.02.2011 - New post press system in Lazio

The year ends well for CIVIEMME-SYSTEM, with an order from the centre of Italy in the last days of December.

A RIMA-SYSTEM RS 830 trimming line, consisting of two trimming units and a bump turn, combined with a RIMA-SYSTEM RS 24S compensating stacker will start production on a 16p web press. A back-up system with a RIMA-SYSTEM RS 24S compensating stacker will be installed on a second 16p web press. Both systems will be easy movable, in order to be used on both web presses if necessary.

In this way, the printer will be able to widen his product range and to meet the requests both of the printing world and of the great distribution.

Technology and reliability, a good price-quality relationship, the financial stability of the group RIMA-SYSTEM / CIVIEMME-SYSTEM and of course the after-sales service through CIVIEMME-SYSTEM based in Bogogno have been the key elements for the choice.

Civiemme was founded in Bogogno (Novara) in 1973 as a manufacturer of parts of machines for the graphic arts and converting sector.

In 1976 Civiemme decided to put its know-how and skills together to create a complete product: the first log stacker "Made in Italy" was designed and manufactured in 1977.

Between 1977 and 1978 the first two horizontal log stackers were installed in Italy and the following year the first vertical one was installed.

In 1982 Civiemme created the first "gantry-style" log palletizer. From that moment onwards Civiemme developed different models of stacking and palletizing systems, all designed upon the specific needs of different markets/customers.

In the 80's Civiemme reinforced its position on the European market and entered the overseas markets.

By extending its sale network, in the 90's Civiemme became world leader of post-press solutions for signatures stacking and palletizing.

In 2000 Civiemme became the sole Italian manufacturer supplying the entire world market with complete post-press solutions made up of floor and overhead conveyors, rotary trimmers, stackers and palletizers either for logs or stacks.

10.11.2010 - Grafica Veneta and CIVIEMME-SYSTEM, a perfect match

The only existing model is in Trebaseleghe, near Padova, in the plant of Grafica Veneta, the best seller printing house. The company, which produces more than 130 million books a year and is devoted to green economy, has recently renewed its machine stock, successfully introducing this new system.

We are talking about the Timsons T 48 single-colour web press, specialy designed for fiber signatures with a max. thickness of 5 mm, equipped with a modern, reliable and easy-to-use CIVIEMME-SYSTEM and RIMA-SYSTEM collecting system.

Thanks to the different configuration possibilities, the whole post press equipment is so compact and accessible that it can be managed by one operator only.

29.06.10 CIVIEMME-SYSTEM successfully launches the new ST 2000 stacker

Complementing the existing series of log stackers, CIVIEMME-SYSTEM (the Italian member of the RIMA-SYSTEM group) based the new ST 2000 stacker on the design and efficiency of the heavy-duty ST 8000 machine. Compared to its big brother, the “all-in-one”-machine is movable and more compact and matches perfectly the requirements of small to medium presses.

23.01.2009 - Sheridan Books trusts in CIVIEMME-SYSTEM

Sheridan Books, located in Chelsea (Michigan), has decided to install a line of floor conveyors and a ST 280 vertical log stacker from CIVIEMME-SYSTEM.
