10.11.2010 - Grafica Veneta and CIVIEMME-SYSTEM, a perfect match

The only existing model is in Trebaseleghe, near Padova, in the plant of Grafica Veneta, the best seller printing house. The company, which produces more than 130 million books a year and is devoted to green economy, has recently renewed its machine stock, successfully introducing this new system.
We are talking about the Timsons T 48 single-colour web press, specialy designed for fiber signatures with a max. thickness of 5 mm, equipped with a modern, reliable and easy-to-use CIVIEMME-SYSTEM and RIMA-SYSTEM collecting system.
Thanks to the different configuration possibilities, the whole post press equipment is so compact and accessible that it can be managed by one operator only.
Grafica Veneta, which has always been interested in the production process and is well known in the world for the quality of its products, carefully chooses the partners to rely on.
As a matter of fact, the relationship with Civiemme-System has turned through the years into an alliance. For the biggest completely carbon free industrial reality that has made of research and innovation the real core business, looking for new markets is a strategic matter.
Grafica Veneta, therefore, could not ignore such an opportunity to notably improve the pocket line, which is obtaining the best results abroad.
TIMSONS T48: a machine with a personality of its own
From the two folder deliveries, the signatures are conveyed to the ST 420 vertical bundle stacker through a RIMA-SYSTEM line; a RS 820 trimming module allows for product trimming before stacking.
In the ST 420 stacker, the bundles of signatures are automatically compressed, strapped and sent to the palletizer.
In case of anomaly of the strapping system, the intervention of an automatic device allows for bundle strapping by means of the emergency strapper, without the intervention of the operator being necessary.
The strapped bundles are picked up by the automatic PL 86 palletizer and deposited onto the pallet according to a preset programme; the full pallet is ejected and automatically replaced with a new pallet.
The automatisms and the control systems allow for continuity in production without the constant presence of the operator being necessary.
