05.03.2009 - Successful start-up at Baumann Druck

After deciding to equip their finishing system with solutions from RIMA-SYSTEM in 2008, the post press equipment at Baumann Druck in Kulmbach in Germany is now successfully in operation.

In addition to floor and overhead conveying systems, an RS 840 double stream trimmer, two RS 32 indexing stackers with directly coupled RS 110 blocking units as well as an RS 400 palletizing robot have been installed. To detect possible errors and to provide better service for the customer, a remote maintenance system with direct access to the control units of the post press equipment has also been installed.

Installation and start-up occurred on schedule and without any trouble. In fact, the finishing system was implemented in such a successful way into the production chain that the acceptance certificate was signed within less than three weeks of the start-up.
